This policy explains what information Maxtacit collects through maxtacit.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Maxtacit is an e-commerce agency that manages Amazon, eBay and Google Ads accounts and builds websites for brands and sellers.

Information you give us

When you request a free audit, we collect your name, email address, store name or URL, where you sell, your monthly sales range (optional) and any notes you add.

We use this information only to review your account, contact you about the audit and tell you about our services. The form is delivered to our team by email from our web hosting server. We do not sell your information or share it with anyone else for their own marketing.

If you call or email us directly, we keep that correspondence so we can reply and keep a record of our conversation.

For visitors in the UK and EU, we use this information because you asked us to contact you, and because we have a legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use the site, for example which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are, what device they use and how they found us. This helps us improve the site. We also count when someone sends the audit form, plays our video, or taps our phone number or email address, without recording who they are.

• UK, EU and Switzerland: analytics cookies are only set after you click Accept in the cookie banner.
• Everywhere else: analytics runs by default, and you can switch it off at any time.

You can change your choice whenever you like using Cookie settings at the bottom of the home page. Your choice is saved in your browser.

Google Analytics uses cookies named _ga and _ga_*, which last up to two years. Google processes this data under its own terms; see how Google uses data from sites that use its services. We do not use advertising cookies.

How long we keep information

We keep audit requests and related emails for as long as we need them to respond to you and, if you become a client, to manage our work together. We delete them when they are no longer needed. Google Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under UK and EU data protection law and US state privacy laws, you can ask us to:

• give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• correct or delete it
• stop or limit how we use it, or withdraw your consent

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us. No website or email system is completely secure, so please do not send passwords or payment details through the form.

Children

This site is meant for businesses and is not aimed at children under 16.

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
